Review of Maybelline the rocket mascara

Hello everyone, today I am going to be reviewing the rocket mascara by Maybelline. This was a recent purchase and I know I am late to jump on the bin waggon craze for this miracle mascara.

First of all this packaging is adorable, it looks like a rocket! Also the royal blue looks very classy and sleek.

Now for the actual product, it is amazing. Honestly this is the best mascara I have ever used, in my opinion it is better than benefit they're real and much cheaper. This product retails at only £7.99 which is so cheap for the quality of it. The mascara its self is an extremely dark black, the consistency is not too thick and not too thin its is just right. I have the waterproof and it is correct about that, it does not come of at all in water.

This has the best brush ever! It lengthens, volumizes and keeps lashes separate. Who ever thought of the design of this applicator can we just have a virtual high-5 it is incredible, decreasing bristles towards the end, thinner at the end, the way a mascara brush should be.

This is how the product looks like on me, my eyelashes are totally transformed. Naturally I have long lashes but this just gives them even more length which I have never found in any mascara before.
If you need a new mascara this is the one you need to purchase!

I will be posting some more back to school post soon.

DIY Tumblr inspired notebook

Hello everyone, today I'm am going to show you how to create your own unique notebook for school. School I know that dreaded word but we all have to go and yes I am thinking about it already and not looking forward to go back. Lets just get started ...

Equipment

The items you will need to create this diy are:

Notebook (any size)
Wool
Coloured paper or this colourful cling film type overlay and white paper
Nail file
Clear tape
Glue stick
Scissors
Printer
Computer

How to make it!

Firstly you will need to cut four pieces of wool one for each edge of the book. I did cut an extra one just to be safe, even though I did cut all the first ones too short. I'm not going to get an a* in wool cutting I guess.

Before we start to get glue everywhere, you will need to file the front of your notebook where you are going to stick paper (only if the front is glossy). This will just help for anything to stick tighter and it will be more secure.

Be VERY careful for this next step, cut a piece of paper to the exact size of your notebook either coloured or white. If you are using this cling film thing you will need to cut a piece of it the same size as the white paper. This did take me about 100 tries to master.

Next stick your paper to the front of your book and if your like me stick the cling film overlay on the top.

This is the tricky part, glue a piece of wool to each of the four edges of your notebook.

Now this is my favourite part search through google to find some cute pictures to stick to your notebook. I typed into google we heart it transparent, tumblr transparent and cute pictures transparent. Find some that you like and print them off on plain paper.

To complete your notebook cut out and stick down your pictures on to your book. This is how the front turned out to look like.

Also i stuck a few pictures on the back. I really like how mine turned out and this will be one of my statement school supplies!

That's it!

I hope you try and create your own notebook if you do please DM me a picture on instagram @daisy_xox_
Thank you so much for reading.
Enjoy the last part of your summer if you haven't already started school again.

SUMMER SEVENTIALS

Hello everyone, today I am sharing with you my summer seventials (yes i did make that name). Basically seven of my summer essentials. Here in Britain this summer has been very hot which is lucky for us, as England isn't a very hot country.

Mini body spray

My first essential is a mini body spray. These are a life saver it doesn't matter where I am I will always top up on spray. Carrying around a massive bottle doesn't intrigue me so mini sprays are perfect. Especially in summer when you get all hot and sticky and get a little bit sweaty you need a bit of spray to boost your aroma. This spray is from primark and it is the i love sugars pomegranate, this is such a sweet fruity smell and is amazing for summer.

Cooling mist

If you are a sporty person then this is what you need in your life. It is a spray which is applied to your face and comes out ice cold. I use this mainly after horse riding when my face is literally as red as a tomato. You can buy these from pound land they are so cheap but yet so effective.

Bikini

Pool, beach, jacuzzi time! Going in naked? I don't think so, bikinis and swimming costumes are honestly sent from heaven. Now its summer I wear my bikinis a lot more often and also feel more confident in them. Is it just me that can always find bottoms but never any tops or in sets the top is nice but the bottoms are too small or too big (vice versa)? This bikini is from primark last year so I don't think it is possible to purchase.

Sunglasses

Sunglasses are a must have! The sun is out, the shades are on, its summer. As well as being fashionable sunglasses are very important to protect your eyes from the dangerous uv rays projected from the sun. It doesn't matter weather your Beyonce, superman or the kid from next-door we are all at risk of eye cancer so protect your eyes. Don't think your too 'cool' to get your eyes damaged , your not. Personally I love these glasses so much, they are from boots and are the brand BOURJOIS.

Floppy hat

For me hats are very important in the sun as I am very pale my face gets burnt easily so covering up with a large floppy hat is perfect. Also I love how they look on, some people can look like a beauty queen and for some you can end up looking like, well you get the image. Mine is from accessorise and i added a flower headband to glam it up a bit.

Suncream

Factor 50, applying every 5 seconds yep I'm that kid. Being as white as clouds doesn't help in summer I will turn red even if there is only a tiny bit of sun. The tomato look isn't one that I aim to achieve however, at least once in summer it happens to me. So having protection from the sun is very important I have to use factor 50! My favourite suncream is this nivea one, can we just take a minute to cherish that it is BLUE and is 'very' water resistant.

Backpacks

My final essential is a backpack in summer I can never be bothered to hold a handbag so backpacks are my best friends. I can't be the only one who shops a lot in summer so without holding a bag, you have more space for those shopping bags (primark, primark and probably another primark.) You can probably guess where mine is from, yep primark I love this one as it is denim but, is so light and is the perfect size.

Thats it!

Thank you so much for reading.
I hope you have a lovely summer.

Ootd: Alton Towers

Hello everyone, today I am going to be doing my first ootd (outfit of the day) for you. On Tuesday my whole school went on a trip to alton towers, we had around 6 hours at the park. The sun came out for us and we had our fingers crossed for no rain. No, there was no rain -luckily- we all had a lovely day even though the sun was beating down all day and it being 29 degrees. The rides i was able to get on were air, duel, 13, the flume, the runaway mine train, sonic spinball, nemesis and blade.

Outfit

This is what I wore: my denim skirt dungarees are from primark, these are one of my favourite items to wear in summer.
The white top is from a website called dress link, it is a crop top but you can see that it is cropped underneath the dungarees.
My socks are frilly white socks from primark.
The shoes I wore were just some plain low white converse.

From the back

This is what I looked like from the back I thought I would show you because of my backpack.
My backpack is from a shop called bowtique.
I had my hair in a half up half down style with beachy waves and a yellow ribbon.

Some pictures from Alton

This is me, Amy, Lucy and Lauren on the coach, and yes Amy and Lucy are twins.

This is an action shot of the ride nemesis one of which I went on.

This is Lucy, Amy, me and Lauren on the log flume. We were actually on the ride at the point when Lucy took this photo!

Thats it!

I hope you enjoyed this little ootd I hope to be doing some more in the future.
Thank you for reading.

Small colourful haul!

Welcome everyone to my blog. As you can probably tell this is my first post and i will be sharing with you a little haul. All these items have one thing in similar see if you can guess what !

Dre beats headphones

My first item are these earphone by Dr DRE, they are a beautiful baby pink colour unlike all my other
earphones which are white. I received these as a present from my cousin who has just arrived home from Turkey. However i am sure they are available to purchase in an electronics shop. Listening to music is amazing quality with them, also i turned the volume on the highest and there was no sound leakage at all.

Personalised name bracelet

Yet again this bracelet is a present from turkey but you can probably purchase one in a jewellery shop  or even diy your own. I love the orange on this, usually i don't like that colour but on it looks so pretty. I am a big fan of small jewellery that you can layer, and this a perfect example of a piece to pair with other items. Whether you have big or small wrists this type of bracelet will fit you as you can tie it as tight or as loose as you want to.

Turkish eye bracelet

This is the final item from turkey, it is another cute small orange bracelet. This is the same type as my personalised one as it has the turkish eye on, it is orange and the size is adjustable. Since she gave me it i have fell in love with it i will probably be wearing it everyday! I don't know if she will be reading this but i just want to say a big thank you to her for getting me these presents.

Ribbon

This may seem a bit random to be buying ribbons but i love them so much and i literally wear them everyday. This is the most perfect mint colour ever and has now become my favourite ribbon. I purchased this in my local wool shop. If you don't have one near you then i know wilkinsons sell them aswell. If you don't own one then i recommend buying one and wearing it, you may just fall in love.

Floral Phone Case

OBSESSION! My new guilty pleasure has to be buying cases for my phone(i have a white iPhone 4s).
Being completely honest i own about 20 cases and i have lost about 8 of them so that shows how clumsy i am. Having 12 cases is just not enough i have to buy more and when i saw this i instantly ran over and grabbed it. It has a beautiful floral design all over and is very strong which is and added bonus. This is now my favourite case and is was only 99p from home and bargains! If your are getting your shoes on to run and grab this bargin i don't blame you.

Thats it!

That is my haul, i hope you enjoyed stalking through my purchases.
Thank you for reading.
